Alicia Haslauer, PA-C
In May 2007, Alicia graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences. She continued her academic studies at the University of South Alabama -Department of Physician Assistant Studies where she completed the didactic core curriculum, clinical rotations, and a Master’s thesis. She graduated in July of 2010 and received a Master of Health Science degree.
In October 2010, Alicia began working as a certified Physician Assistant at Poole Dermatology under the direct supervision of Dr. Jeffrey Poole. Alicia treats a wide range of skin conditions as well as performs multiple surgical procedures and excisions. She is also expanding her interests and skills in cosmetic dermatology. She is board certified with both the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Alicia is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants. Alicia maintains her certification with Continuing Medical Education hours and attends the annual American Academy of Dermatology conference. Alicia resides in New Orleans where she was born and raised. When not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons.
