Cellfina®

What if you could feel confident and not fret about annoying cellulite when at the pool or during shorts season? Cellfina®, the only FDA-cleared minimally invasive one-time procedure clinically proven to improve the appearance of cellulite, is the answer to your cellulite woes and will bring you immeasurable comfort in your own skin.  This revolutionary procedure has the ability to firm up your body and make you feel more beautiful and confident.

What causes cellulite?

Cellulite is created by connective bands under the skin being tightly pulled over time. This creates a dimpled look or “cottage cheese” that is most often seen on the buttocks, thighs, arms, and other areas where fat deposits are common. Cellulite often occurs after puberty and is mostly common in women but men are also afflicted with areas of cellulite as well.

How does Cellfina® work?

With this FDA approved procedure, we first use lidocaine to numb the area to ease any discomfort. Then a minimally invasive needle is used to disconnect and disrupt the connective bands beneath the skin, causing skin to bounce back to its naturally smooth state. The results can last up to a year, with some patients maintaining a cellulite free appearance for up to three years.

How Long Will The Procedure Take?

This minimally invasive treatment typically takes about 45 minutes, but varies based on the size of the treatment area.

Is Cellfina® Painful?

At most, some patients note a slight discomfort or soreness in the treatment area and occasional bruising.  It is important to note that there are no serious side effects associated with the Cellfina® treatment.

How Long Will It Take To See Results From My Treatment?

Most patients begin to see results from their treatment in as early as three days, with those results progressing over time. At around 3 months, you will see optimal results and can expect them to last for up to three years or even more.

Is There Downtime After Treatment?

Patients are able to return to their regular routine after treatment, but it is suggested to take it easy for around 24 hours if the tenderness is bothersome.
