Celebrities Who Have Battled Skin Cancer

Although it may be hard to believe, celebrities are people too. They make mistakes, and are able to succumb to illness just like anyone else. As information and warning about skin cancer was more scarce in previous decades, it’s not shocking that so many celebrities have had to deal with different forms of skin cancer including Melanoma, Basal Cell Carcinoma, and Squamous Cell Carcinoma.

This is a list of celebrities who we enjoy and revere that have had a struggle with skin cancer, most of which are more than open to share their story. Just like anyone else, these celebrities weren’t thinking about the consequences of sun exposure, and will advocate now on the importance of sunscreen and protecting yourself from the sun. Learning the fear of skin cancer from first hand experience can be scary, but it brings you to a harsh awakening about the sun, your outdoor habits, and taking care of your skin.
