Maria “Gabi” Prudhomme, FNP-C
Maria “Gabi” Prudhomme joined Sanova Dermatology in January of 2021. She was previously located in New Orleans for 6 years, where she has worked with both Bopp Dermatology and Ochsner Dermatology as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner. Gabi, is originally from Lafayette, LA, where she began her medical career as an ICU nurse in Birmingham, Alabama, and Atlanta, Georgia, before deciding to go to graduate school.
Prior to becoming a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner, Gabi worked as a Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency room and urgent care for 2 years. Gabi provides quality medical care, including diagnosis, biopsies, and treatment of all skin problems. She is passionate about Dermatology and works very hard in treating her patients with the very best practices. Her motto is treating patients like you would want someone to treat your family member. Gabi received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.
Her hobbies include quality time with her friends & family, working out, and being an active member of her church community.
