Misty G is a registered nurse and the coveted clinical supervisor at Sanova Dermatology. She offers a plethora of knowledge in the field of Dermatology and aesthetics. She An extremely hard worker, Misty makes it a priority to assist throughout the office to ensure a smooth clinic! Her positive and infectious attitude is the perfect addition to the staff of Sanova Dermatology.

What is your favorite thing about working at Sanova Dermatology?
The people I work with…I love and look forward to coming to work everyday. Everyone works together to get the job done and make it the best experience for our patients.
Do you find it to be challenging?
It’s hard to keep up! This practice it growing ever so quickly. It is an exciting challenge!
What past experience have you brought to the office?
I am passionate about both medical and cosmetic dermatology. I like to share the knowledge that I have gained over the 15 years that I have worked in dermatology. The staff is asking more and more questions and if I don’t know the answer I get it for them so they can further understand. Everyone is eager to acquire knowledge about what they are doing.
What work goals do you have for yourself?
One goal I have for myself is to help Sanova to grow and, maybe in the future, open another location. That would offer excellent care to our patients that might be a little further out, and be a bit more convenient for them too!
Tell us a bit about your family!
I am married and have three girls. My husband has coached both basketball and football for a number of years. My two older daughters play basketball all year around (by choice)! Both my husband and I played sports in college, and I feel the competition and discipline involved is a wonderful way to learn to be a leader and prepare for life in the real world.
Where would we find you on the weekend?
On the weekends you will probably find one or all of us at the gym either playing basketball or cheering on another member of the family. If it is a weekend without games you can find me next to a pool relaxing with friends or at the mall shopping for the next best deal! I have three girls that love fashion!
What is your favorite procedure at Sanova Dermatology?
My favorite procedure at Sanova is Sublative skin resurfacing, but I think that will change after we get our new CoolSculpting procedure up and running. I feel this is a great procedure and everyone will benefit from it.
What is your favorite skin care product?
I think that my favorite product is Botox! Oh… I’m sorry… You wanted skin product! LHA cleanser, because it has done wonders for helping to keep my skin clear.
Give us one skin tip that you swear by!
My one skin tip that I swear by is SUNSCREEN! I love being in the sun, but it is important to protect your skin from the damaging UVB rays. People can never guess how old I am. I feel that it is because I use sunscreen all the time!
