Where are you from and where did you grow up?
I am a Texas girl, born and raised in Houston, TX!
Why did you choose dermatology?
Dermatology offers a combination of medical, surgical, and cosmetic components – I like the diversity. Being able to perform dermatological procedures to help patients improve the appearance the appearance of their skin and improve their quality of life & self-confidence is rewarding.
What aspects of dermatology do you love?
ALL-. I love the combination of all 3 aspects: medical, surgical, and cosmetic
What is your practice philosophy? How do you want your patients to feel after a visit with you?
My practice philosophy revolves around putting the patient at the center of their care. I strongly believe in the value of active listening and ensuring that each patient feels heard and understood. It’s essential to me that my patients know that their needs, concerns, and perspectives matter. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where open communication is encouraged.
After a visit with me, I want my patients to feel empowered, supported and reassured. I aim to provide comprehensive and personalized care that addresses not only their physical health but also their emotional well-being. I want my patients to leave with a clear understanding of their condition, the treatment options available to them, and the confidence that their concerns have been acknowledged.
Additionally, I value the importance of patient education. I aim to empower my patients by providing them with the knowledge and resources they need to actively participate in their own care. By fostering a collaborative relationship, I hope to help my patients make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
Ultimately, my goal is to create a positive and compassionate experience for my patients, where they feel respected, supported, and confident in their care.
What do you love to treat or what treatments do you specialize in?
I love treating acne (for the reasons above) and performing cyst excisions. I was obsessed with Dr. Pimple Popper growing up!!
What do you like to do in your free time?
Binge-watch anything Gordon Ramsey. I also love to read, spend time with my family, and be outdoors in nature.
