Juvederm Vollure

Juvederm Vollure in Austin, TXIf you’ve ever looked into skin rejuvenation products in the past, you’ve likely heard of Allergan’s ‘Juvederm’ brand before. Allergan is now further expanding their line with the introduction of Juvederm Vollure. Know as Volift in Canada and Europe, this advanced dermal filler is designed to give a long-lasting, natural-looking result. The product improves on Juvederm’s older labels and compliments its newer ones, giving patients access to a new suite of fillers to improve the look of their skin.

What is it?

“Juvederm Vollure, or Volift as it’s called overseas, is part of the newer line of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers offered by Juvedrem,” says Dr. Miriam Hanson, board certified Dermatoloist and cosmetic expert at Sanova Dermatlogy. It is marketed as a more advanced alternative to their older products and boasts longer-lasting results (up to fifteen months) with a more natural overall appearance.

What is it used for?

“Like most dermal fillers, the main propose of Vollure is to improve the appearance of the face by reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, as well as restoring fullness to those area that have lost volume,” Dr. Hanson explains.

Which areas can be treated with Volift?

Vollure is a very versatile filler and can be used for nasolabial folds (the folds that run from the nose to the mouth) as well as for adding more volume and shape to the cheek and jaw, and improving the shape and fullness of the lips.
